Hey everyone, it's Lucy here, and today I'm braving the freezing cold sea for you. On the shore I line up five different life jackets and compare them in real time--talking through the fits, straps, positives and negatives of each one--before I take the plunge off the rocks into the sea to put them through their paces. I'm dressed in a cosy wetsuit, booties and gloves, shivering and slick, but still ready to tease you. I know how much you love seeing me with the crotch straps on, so I do it properly for the first jacket. For the others, though, the cold and my thick neoprene gloves get the better of me--I step into the crotch straps instead of fastening them correctly, committing the ultimate sin.
